JoSAA Counselling 2025 Schedule Revised: Round 2 Merit List On June 25; check details here

JoSAA has updated its counselling schedule. The Round 1 reporting deadline is extended to 22 June, and Round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on 25 June 2025.

June 20, 2025 / 15:19 IST

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released a revised counselling schedule for the ongoing JoSAA 2025 admission process. Candidates can check the updated timeline on the official website josaa.nic.in. According to the latest notice, the deadline for online reporting for Round 1 has now been extended to 5 pm on 22 June 2025 (Sunday).

This extension gives candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 more time to complete the required steps such as uploading documents, paying the Seat Acceptance Fee, and submitting their willingness (Freeze, Float, or Slide). Candidates failing to complete these steps by the extended deadline will lose their allotted seat and will not be eligible for the following rounds.

Important Dates in the Revised Schedule

As per the updated timeline released by JoSAA, the following are the important dates candidates need to note:

  • 22 June 2025 (by 5 pm): Last date for Round 1 online reporting, fee payment, willingness submission, and document upload
  • 23 June 2025 (by 5 pm): Resolution of payment issues for those who made payment attempts before the deadline
  • 24 June 2025 (by 10 am): Last date to respond to queries raised during Round 1
  • 25 June 2025 (by 5 pm): Announcement of Round 2 seat allotment result

Once the Round 2 allotment is declared, selected candidates will have to complete the online reporting process between 25 and 29 June 2025, which includes fee payment, uploading necessary documents, and responding to any raised queries if applicable.

The final date for paying the Seat Acceptance Fee for Round 2 is 29 June 2025, while any issues related to payment can be resolved by 30 June. The last day to reply to Round 2 queries is 1 July, and the Round 3 seat allotment result will be released on 2 July 2025 at 10 am.

How to Pay the Seat Acceptance Fee

To make the payment for the Seat Acceptance Fee for Round 1, candidates should:

  1. Visit the official website josaa.nic.in
  2. Log in using the candidate credentials
  3. Go to the fee payment section
  4. Complete the transaction through the online payment gateway
  5. Download and save the confirmation page for future use

Candidates who had used the pre-payment option earlier must also submit their willingness (Freeze, Float, Slide) and upload all necessary documents by 22 June. Failing to do so will result in cancellation of the provisional seat.

The authority has informed that a revised schedule for the next rounds of JoSAA counselling will be announced soon. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official portal for further updates.
