The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced a recruitment drive for various positions in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across the country. The IBPS RRB 2025 notification invites online applications for a total of 13,217 vacancies for the roles of Office Assistant (Multipurpose Clerk) and Officers (Scale I, II, & III).

Candidates can begin their application process on the official website, ibps.in, starting today, September 1, 2025. The window for online registration and fee payment will remain open until September 21, 2025.

The recruitment drive covers a wide range of positions, offering opportunities for fresh graduates and experienced professionals alike.

• Office Assistant (Multipurpose Clerk): 7,972 Vacancies
• Officer Scale-I: 3,907 Vacancies
• Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer): 854 Vacancies
• Officer Scale-II (Information Technology Officer): 87 Vacancies
• Officer Scale-II (Chartered Accountant): 69 Vacancies
• Officer Scale-II (Law Officer): 48 Vacancies
• Officer Scale-II (Treasury Manager): 16 Vacancies
• Officer Scale-II (Marketing Officer): 15 Vacancies
• Officer Scale-II (Agriculture Officer): 50 Vacancies
• Officer Scale-III: 199 Vacancies

Office Assistant & Officer Scale-I: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Officer Scale-II & III: Requires a Bachelor's degree with specific minimum percentages (often 50%) and relevant post-qualification work experience, which varies for specialized fields like IT, Law, CA, Finance, and Agriculture.

• Office Assistant (Clerk): 18 to 28 years
• Officer Scale-I: 18 to 30 years
• Officer Scale-II: 21 to 32 years
• Officer Scale-III: 21 to 40 years

(Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.)

• SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: Rs. 175/-
• All Other Candidates: Rs. 850/-

The selection process varies for different posts:

For Office Assistant (Clerk): Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Preliminary Examination followed by the Mains Examination.

For Officer Scale-I: The selection involves three stages: Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, and a Personal Interview.

For Officer Scale-II & III: The recruitment process consists of a single Online Examination (Mains level) followed by a Personal Interview round.

Step 4. Fill out the online application form carefully with accurate personal and educational details.

Step 5. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other required documents as per the specified format and size.

Step 6. Pay the requisite application fee online using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or other available modes.

Step 7. Submit the form and download/print a copy of the application for your future reference.
