The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the Common University Entrance Test, Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 day 2 exam on May 16, 2024.

Shift 1: Economics

After collecting initial feedback from numerous test takers and conducting thorough review of the paper, Amitendra Kumar, Assistant Vice President, Career Launcher, concluded that the difficulty level of the CUET Economics paper was relatively easy to moderately challenging.

It was noted that the questions were distributed well across the diverse chapters from the syllabus. This distribution ensured that candidates were tested on a broad spectrum of economic concepts and theories, thereby maintaining a balanced assessment framework.

The themes and topics from which questions were mostly asked in the CUET Economics question paper included applications, economic principles, theoretical knowledge, case studies illustrating real-world scenarios, numerical problem-solving, and considerations of chronological developments in economic history. This thorough distribution of questions evaluated the depth of understanding among candidates. It allowed test takers to demonstrate their overall proficiency.

CUET

Shift 2: Hindi 

On the second day of CUET (UG) 2024, Hindi was slotted in the second shift. It was the second language paper after English, which was conducted in offline (pen and paper) format. The collective assessment of CUET Hindi paper indicated one prevailing sentiment that the paper was relatively easy in terms of difficulty.

Valuable feedback from students, along with expert evaluations, provided insights into the overall examination experience. Students expressed satisfaction with various aspects, including the manageable difficulty level, reasonable time allocation, and the overall complexity of the questions posed.

Furthermore, the distribution of questions across all the key topics was noted by the students. Most questions were from the textbook, covering a wide range of fundamental concepts and themes.

In summary, the Hindi language examination was characterized by its accessibility, balanced distribution of questions, and overall positive reception among examinees.
