CSIR UGC NET 2024: Correction Window Now Open, Make Corrections By January 5

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for the CSIR UGC NET 2024 December Session application today, 4 January 2025. Candidates who have registered for the exam can edit specific details in their application forms through the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in. The correction window will remain active until 11:50 PM on 5 January 2025.

Details Candidates Can Edit

Candidates are allowed to modify the following information in their application form:

• Date of birth
• Category
• Father’s name
• Mother’s name

However, no changes will be allowed in these details:

• Candidate’s name
• Gender
• Photo and signature
• Mobile number
• Email address
• Permanent and correspondence address
• Exam city

Guidelines for Modifications

Depending on whether candidates used their Aadhaar card for verification during registration, the scope of modifications varies:

For candidates who verified with Aadhaar: Only the date of birth, category, father’s name, and mother’s name can be edited.

For candidates who did not verify with Aadhaar: The same fields as above can be modified.

In all cases, changes to other personal details, including the candidate’s name and exam city, are not permitted.

Steps to Edit the CSIR NET 2024 Application Form

1. Visit the official CSIR NET website at csirnet.nta.ac.in.
2. Click on the "Candidate Login" link.
3. Enter your login credentials, including your registration number and password.
4. Edit the required details in the application form.
5. Review the changes carefully and submit them.
6. Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

The CSIR UGC NET 2024 December Session exams are scheduled to be conducted from 16 February to 28 February 2025. The NTA will soon release the detailed schedule and timings on the official website. Candidates are advised to complete any necessary corrections within the stipulated time and regularly check the website for updates.
