CSIR NET Result 2025

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the CSIR NET Result 2025 for the June session. Candidates who appeared for the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) National Eligibility Test can now access and download their scorecards from the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.

This result is important for candidates aiming to secure a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or qualify for Lectureship/Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges, opening doors to advanced research and academic careers in scientific fields.

The examination was conducted successfully on July 28, 2025, across numerous test centres in the country. The NTA reported a substantial turnout, with 1,47,732 candidates appearing for the exam out of 1,95,241 registered aspirants. The exam was administered for five core science disciplines: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences.

Candidates can follow these simple steps to check and save their results:

Step 1. Navigate to the official NTA CSIR NET portal: csirnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2. On the homepage, locate and click on the activated link that reads 'CSIR UGC NET June 2025 Result'.

Step 3. You will be redirected to a login page. Enter your required credentials and submit.

Step 4. Your CSIR NET scorecard will be displayed on the screen.

Carefully review all details, download the PDF, and take multiple printouts for all future admission and recruitment processes.

The digitally downloadable scorecard is a comprehensive document that includes:

• Candidate’s personal details (Name, Roll Number, Category)
• The subject of the exam
• Subject-wise marks secured
• Total raw marks and normalized scores
• Percentile score
• Qualifying status for JRF and Lectureship (Eligibility)
• Candidates are advised to verify all information meticulously and report any discrepancies to the NTA immediately through the prescribed channels.

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Selected fellows can pursue Ph.D. programs in science and technology with financial assistance from CSIR, embarking on a path toward cutting-edge research.

Lectureship (LS) / Assistant Professor: Those who qualify for Lectureship become eligible to apply for teaching positions in Indian universities and colleges, subject to the recruitment rules of the respective institution.

The NTA will subsequently issue the e-certificates and JRF Award Letters to the successful candidates. It is crucial to keep checking the official website for notifications regarding the download schedule for these vital documents.
