YEAR                       EVENTS
 1993 - The Company was Incorporated on 26th March and obtained the
        Certificate of Commencement of Business on 17th June.
 
      - It was promoted by J.K. Arora and A.K. Arora.  The Company
        Manufacture beer and Indian made foreign liquor.
 
      - The Company undertook to set up a project for manufacture of
 beer
        with an installed capacity of 1,00,000 hectolitre per annum
 and
        bottle the Indian made foreign liquor with an installed
 capacity
        of 54,000 hectolitre per annum, in the first phase.  Land
        admeasuring 20 acres was acquired at village Rojra chak, a 
        notified backward area in the Raisen district of M.P.
 
      - The Company proposed to increase the capacity to 50,000 
        hectolitres of beer in each of 95-96, 96-97.
 
 1995 - 16,05,070 No. of equity shares of Rs.10 each issued,
 subscribed
        and paid-up.  61,85,000 No. of equity shares of Rs.10 each
 were
        then issued at par of which 3,85,000 shares and 8,00,000
 shares
        were reserved for allotment on a firm basis to resident
        promoters/directors and NRIs, associates, respectively.  The
        following of the total were reserved for allotment on a pref.
        basis:
 
      - (i) 28,200 shares to employees (only 26,600 shares taken up),
 
      - (ii) 10,00,000 shares to Indian Mutual Funds (none were taken
        up),
 
      - (iii) 12,00,000 shares to NRIs on repatriation basis (only 
        9,80,000 shares taken up).
 
      - Balance 27,71,800 shares along with 12,21,000 shares not
 taken
        up under preferential quota was issued to the public (all
 were
        taken up).
 
 2000 - The Company has introduced Hunter Extra Strong and Legend
 Premium
        Beer in 500ml cans.
 
 2005
 
 -Som Distilleries extends arrangement with UBL for bottling King
 Fisher Beer
 
 -Som Distilleries secures order worth Rs 150 mn from Africa
 
 -Som Distilleries secures US $ 2 mn Order from USA
 
 2006
 
 -Som Distilleries enters into Goa Market
 
 2008
 
 -Som Distilleries has introduced Can Beer in Haryana, Chandigarh,
 Chhattisgarh and West Bengal. 
 
 -Som Distilleries has undertaken expansion of its capacity for
 bottling and brewing from 3.6 million cases to 7.2 million cases of
 beer.
 
 2010
 
 -Som Distilleries has completed its expansion-cum-modernisation
 program. The capacity for production of beer has been doubled from
 29200 KL to 59200 KL, equal to 7.2 million cases.
 
 2011
 
 -Som Distilleries gets nod to up beer manufacturing capacity
 
 -Som Distilleries as recommended a dividend of Rs. 0.75 per share of
 Rs. 10 each
 
 2012
 
 -Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd has become a zero debt Company
 
 -Som Distilleries has recommended a dividend of 10% i.e. Rs. 1.00 per
 share of Rs. 10/- each
 
 2013
 - Board has recommended a Dividend of 15% i.e. Rs. 1.50 per share of
 Rs. 10each.
 
 2014
 
 - SDBL has INDSPIRIT Award is the largest award in the alcobev
 industry organized by SAP Media India Pvt Ltd on 24th January 2014.
 
 - Board has recommended a Dividend of 15% i.e. Rs. 1.50 per share of
 Rs. 10
 - Wereceived the Spiritz 2014 Best Product debut award for Milestone
 100 whisky.
 
 2016
 -Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd. has informed  that the company and
 Breweries Ltd. has launched a Ready to Drink concept in a completely
 new packaging design.
 -Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd. has informed  regarding Launch of
 Hunter Pint Bottles.
 -Som Distilleries inks contract with Jagatjit Industries
 -Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd has informed  Updates on Merger of
 Legend Distilleries Private Limited with Som Distilleries and
 Breweries Limited.
 
 2017
 
 -Som Distilleries & Breweries got approval from USFDA for its beer
 brands for supplying these products to the United States of America
 (USA). 
 
 -Som Distilleries & Breweries inks MoU with White Owl Brewery.
 
 -The Company has introduced a new variant in Cranberry flavor aptly
 named as COSMO.
 
 2018
 
 -Compant got approval from Canteen Stores Department (CSD) for the
 supply of our products to the States of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and
 Punjab. 
 
 -Som Distilleries & Breweries Limited has informed that Acquision of
 a Brewery unit in the state of Odisha by Proposed subsidiary company 
 Som Distilleries & Breweries Odisha Private Ltd.
 
 -Company got approval for manufacturing of IMFL at our subsidiary
 Woodpecker Distilleries & Breweries Private Ltd at Hassan.
 
 2019
 
 -company has got approval for supply to Canteen Stores Department for
 the state of Karnataka.
 
 2021
 
 -The Board approved the offer and issuance of upto 49,99,058 fully
 paid-up equity shares of the Company by way of a Rights Issue in
 proportion of 1:13 to the existing equity shareholders of the Company
 as on the record date.
