Dolphin Laboratories Ltd.

The Company was incorporated on 9th July, 1951 as Dolphin
 Pharmaceutics Limited by a group of promoters from Hyderabad and
 Calcutta.  The name of the Company was changed to Dolphin
 Laboratories Limited with effect from 4th April 1952.  The company
 was converted into a Private Limited Company in the year 1956.  In
 the year 1971 Gandhis, who were in trading business of pharmaceutical
 products took over the controlling interest in the company and set up
 the unit at Calcutta in the year 1975.  The company became a deemed
 public company with effect from 30th September 1988 and adopted a new
 set of Articles of Association on 18th November 1992, as applicable to
 Public Limited Companies.
