Fresh spell of snow blankets Himachal, Kashmir | In pics

Fresh snowfall in the higher reaches and showers in the plains of Kashmir on Monday led to a sharp drop in day temperatures in the valley.

The higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh received snowfall for the second day on Monday, leading to a dip in the minimum temperature. Gondhla and Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti district received 5 cm and 4 cm of snow respectively, officials said.
