Suzuki Avenis updated ahead of festive season, check out what is new in TVS Ntorq, Honda Dio-rival

The Suzuki Avenis in its new colour option.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced a new colour variant for its 125cc scooter, the Suzuki Avenis. The scooter is now available in Metallic Matte Platinum Silver No. 2 / Glass Sparkle Black.

This colour joins the existing options -- Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Glacier White, Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Mira Red, and Glossy Sparkle Black. The update is aimed at expanding the choices for riders ahead of the start of the festive season.

The Suzuki Avenis rivals the likes of the TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Dio 125, Yamaha Ray ZR 125 and Hero Xoom 125.

At the heart of the Suzuki Avenis is a 124.3cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which complies with the BS6 OBD-2B norms. It produces 8.7PS and 10Nm, and features Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology.

Among the key features are LED headlamp, LED taillamps, digital instrument console, split grab rails, front box with USB socket, external hinge-type fuel cap, under-seat storage capacity of 21.8 litres, telescopic front suspension, combined brake system, and a side-stand interlock system.

The Standard Edition is priced at Rs 91,400 and the Ride Connect Edition at Rs 93,200. All prices are ex-showroom. The scooter is available at authorised Suzuki two-wheeler dealerships across India.

Financing options up to 100% and no hypothecation are available through select financiers. As part of the Suzuki Riding Fest, customers purchasing select models, including the Avenis, are eligible for gifts.
