Motorola launches Moto E4 and E4 Plus in India; priced at Rs 8,999 and Rs 9,999

Smartphone giant Motorola launched Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus in India on Wednesday.

The Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus were already available in some international markets. The phones are part of the 4th Generation Moto E series.

Just like the Moto G5 series, Moto E4 Plus' front fingerprint sensor is embedded into the home button with a water repellent nano coating.

Moto E4 Specifications:

The device

The phone weighing 151 g has a 5.0 inch multitouch display screen and has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with oleophobic coating.

It runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) operating system supported by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 427 Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 processor. The phone has 16 GB, 3 GB RAM of internal memory and micro SD slot for up to 128 GB expansion.

The Chicago-based tech giant has provided a non-removable Li-Ion 5000 mAh battery, which according to the company should last two days on a single charge.

The phone will be available in three colours - Iron Gray, Fine Gold and Oxford Blue.

Camera

The primary camera is eight megapixels with f/2.2, autofocus and LED flash. It can capture videos at resolution of 720p at 30 frames-per-second.

The secondary camera is five megapixels with f/2.2 and LED flash.

Device

The metal-bodied phone weighs 198 g and has a 5.5-inch multitouch display screen. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with oleophobic coating.

It runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) operating system supported by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 427 Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 processor. The phone has 32 GB storage, 3 GB RAM of internal memory and micro SD slot for up to 128 GB expansion.

Moto E4 has been priced at Rs 8,999 while Moto E4 Plus has been priced at Rs 9,999.

Moto E4 Plus will be sold exclusively on Flipkart starting 11:59 pm on Wednesday night while Moto E4 will be available in retail stores.

The Moto E4 Plus launch was scheduled for 12 pm and was broadcast live on YouTube.
