New allegations against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, have surfaced following the release of a large tranche of documents from the Jeffrey Epstein files by the US Department of Justice.
The newly released records include a legal letter that links Andrew to an alleged incident involving an exotic dancer at the Florida mansion of Jeffrey Epstein in 2006. The documents form part of investigative material that has now entered the public domain.
What the newly released legal letter alleges
According to a letter written by lawyer William Vogeler in March 2011, his unnamed client was hired as an exotic dancer and taken to Epstein’s Palm Beach residence in West Palm Beach, Florida.
“According to my client, Epstein offered to pay her and other exotic dancers $10,000 each to perform at your client’s home several years ago,” Vogeler wrote in a letter addressed to Epstein’s former legal representative Robert Critton, as reported by ITVX News.
The lawyer said his client was chauffeured to a party where she noticed several young women dressed provocatively. “Some appeared to be as young as 14 years old,” the letter stated.
Vogeler wrote that the woman was later taken to a bedroom where she met Epstein, whom she recognised from previous encounters at a strip club. “At his home, Epstein introduced my client to his guest Andrew,” the letter said.
“My client then danced for the men, undressing until she was wearing only a bra and panties. Epstein and Andrew then told my client they wanted to have a threesome,” the letter alleged.
According to the letter, the woman insisted she had been “hired to dance, not to have sex.” Vogeler wrote that Epstein told her she would be paid later and that the men “prevailed upon her to take part in different sexual activities.”
“After the men had satisfied themselves, they invited my client to take a trip with them to the Virgin Islands. However, she declined their invitation,” the letter added.
The lawyer also claimed Epstein paid the woman only $2,000 instead of the $10,000 that had allegedly been promised.
The letter further stated that the woman was willing to keep her interactions confidential in exchange for $250,000. Vogeler wrote that his client was not proud of “the circumstances of that night” and wanted to avoid public exposure.
“My client was working as an exotic dancer, but she was treated like a prostitute,” the lawyer wrote. “To avoid unseemly publicity, my client asked me to keep her name confidential for purposes of settlement. However, she is prepared to assert her rights in the public courts if necessary.”
Other allegations involving Andrew and Epstein
This is not the first time Andrew has been linked to Epstein-related allegations. In 2019, a former lap dancer alleged that Andrew pressed his face against her chest at a party hosted by Epstein in New York in the 1990s. She claimed Epstein arranged women based on Andrew’s preferences.
Andrew is also facing renewed scrutiny after another woman accused Epstein of flying her to Britain for sex. She said she was later taken to Buckingham Palace for tea. Her lawyer, Brad Edwards, has issued an ultimatum to Andrew and the Royal Family to respond or face legal action.
According to BBC News, the woman said she spent a night with Andrew at his Royal Lodge residence in 2010. Responding to the report, a UK police spokesperson said, “We are aware of reports about a woman said to have been taken to an address in Windsor in 2010 for sexual purposes. We are assessing the information in line with our established procedures. We take any reports of sexual crimes extremely seriously and encourage anyone with information to come forward.”
The Epstein files also include photographs showing Andrew kneeling on all fours over an unidentified woman.
In 2014, the late Virginia Giuffre publicly accused Andrew of sexual abuse, claiming she was trafficked by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell when she was 17. Andrew has consistently denied her allegations.
Buckingham Palace response and Andrew’s current status
Andrew has already been stripped of royal duties and titles. According to multiple media reports, he has vacated his Windsor residence and relocated to the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
Buckingham Palace had earlier said the move was expected in early 2026, but the release of the Epstein documents appears to have accelerated the process. In October, the Palace announced that King Charles had begun steps to withdraw Andrew’s remaining styles, titles and honours.
Andrew continues to deny all allegations and has not commented publicly on the latest claims contained in the Justice Department files.
