A video circulating on social media has sparked discussion after showing a Pakistani MP criticising his country’s diplomatic approach during the ongoing tensions involving the United States, Israel and Iran. The clip shows the politician commenting sarcastically on Pakistan’s foreign policy response during the crisis, with many users sharing it as an example of internal political criticism within Pakistan.
In the video, the MP claims that Islamabad initially contacted Iran and expressed opposition to the US strikes while showing support for Tehran. He further states that shortly afterwards Pakistani officials also reached out to Saudi Arabia and conveyed a similar message following Iran’s retaliatory actions.
"Pakistan called Iran 1st & assured we're with you" "Pakistan then called Saudi & assured we're with you" "Then Iran & Saudi called each other & told Pakistan 'Bhai, आप बैठ जाओ'."😂😂😂 Jan-Nalayak is born to become PM but of Pakistan. Same IQ. Same Hate for Bharat. pic.twitter.com/7yWfByAFfm— BhikuMhatre (@MumbaichaDon) March 6, 2026
The remarks were intended to highlight what he described as contradictory diplomatic behaviour, suggesting that Pakistan was attempting to maintain relations with both sides of the conflict even as tensions between them continued to grow. At one point, the speaker made a lighthearted comment implying that both Iran and Saudi Arabia might respond by telling Pakistan to ‘sit down’, suggesting that attempts to please all parties could ultimately satisfy none.
The video has gained wider attention amid a series of other clips related to the Middle East conflict circulating online. Fact-checking groups have also warned that several viral videos claiming to show Pakistan’s direct involvement in the war were found to be digitally altered, with some using artificially generated audio.
