Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated following the Pahalgam attack, which was claimed by The Resistance Front (TRF), a group widely considered to be a proxy of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba. The attack has sparked significant diplomatic and political fallout in the region.
India has suspended the Indus Water Treaty, reduced the strength of Islamabad's diplomatic mission, and expelled its military attaches, following a decision by the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS). This action comes in response to cross-border links connected to the deadly terror attack.
