US Senator Lindsey Graham has sharply criticized nations continuing to buy Russian oil, directly naming India, China, and Brazil. He warned that such actions contribute to sustaining Moscow’s war efforts and will have consequences.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Graham targeted New Delhi, stating, “India is paying the price for supporting President Vladimir Putin amid the Ukraine war” hours after Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on Kyiv that killed at least 21 people and injured dozens.

He also took aim at China and Brazil, cautioning other countries against following a similar path.
Accusing nations of indirectly fueling civilian deaths, the senator asked: "India, China, Brazil and others how do you feel right now that your purchases have resulted in innocent civilians, including children, being killed?"
Graham’s comments highlight mounting frustration in Washington over countries that continue to buy discounted Russian crude despite ongoing Western sanctions. His message carried a stark warning: “To the rest, you will soon, too.”
