A new book reveals that Prince Harry and Prince Andrew were involved in a heated altercation at a family gathering in 2013, during which "punches were thrown."
A new royal biography, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, claims that Prince Harry and Prince Andrew were involved in a heated altercation at a family gathering in 2013, allegedly sparked by comments Andrew had made behind Harry’s back. The confrontation reportedly escalated into a physical fight.
Years later, Prince Andrew reportedly made disparaging comments about Meghan Markle, further straining his already tense relationship with his nephews, Princes William and Harry. The book describes Prince Andrew’s relationship with his younger relatives, including Princes William and Harry, as “problematic.”
As quoted by The Telegraph, Lownie recounts a physical altercation between Harry and Andrew, during which Harry allegedly left his uncle with a bloody nose before the situation was defused.
The book also claims Andrew told Harry his marriage to Meghan wouldn't “last more than a month,” deepening the rift between them.
Prince Andrew accused his nephew of going “bonkers” and failing to do “any due diligence into her past” before marrying Meghan Markle in 2018. Following the incident, Harry reportedly confided in Prince William, saying that “he hated Andrew.”
Lownie also notes that Andrew had a history of being openly rude to Kate Middleton, which further strained his relationship with other senior royals—particularly Prince William. The Duke of York’s conduct, both publicly and privately, is said to have caused ongoing frustration within the royal family.
“William has long worked behind the scenes to evict his uncle from Royal Lodge, the home he occupies in Windsor Great Park. He thinks Andrew is abusing the property and his privilege there,” Lownie claimed.
