Iran's state broadcaster reported two explosions near its Tehran headquarters on Tuesday, but said it was continuing to broadcast amid the ongoing Israeli-US strike campaign.

"Smoke from two explosions around IRIB's premises / No disruption to IRIB's operations," the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting wrote on Telegram.

The Israeli army claimed overnight Monday to Tuesday that it had "struck and dismantled" the headquarters of the IRIB in the Evin district of northern Tehran, which it described as a "communications centre of the Iranian terrorist regime."

It had previously urged residents of the district "to evacuate immediately."

US President Donald Trump warned Monday that his attack on Iran could extend longer than a month, as the war spread with Israel bombarding Lebanon and Tehran targeting oil facilities in Gulf countries.

Israel's military told residents that they were free to leave their shelters following a wave of Iranian missile launches after midnight on Tuesday.

The army had said it was working to intercept several launches from Iran towards Israel, forcing residents across the country into shelters.

In a "situational assessment" after the barrage, the army's Home Front Command said "it is now permitted to leave protected spaces in all areas across the country and to remain near them."

There were no immediate reports of fatalities from the latest Iran strikes.

The United States on Monday also urged Americans to leave all of the Middle East from Egypt eastward due to safety concerns after the United States and Israel attacked Iran.

The State Department "urges Americans to DEPART NOW from the countries below using available commercial transportation, due to serious safety risks," Mora Namdar, the assistant secretary of state for consular affairs, wrote on X, listing 14 countries.

The United States for now is asking Americans to leave commercially, although flights have been severely disrupted in much of the region, and has not organized its own evacuations.

The advisory included Egypt, the most populous country in the region, which has had years of tense relations with Iran's Islamic republic but has seen little direct impact since the United States and Israel attacked on Saturday.

The advisory listed all Gulf Arab monarchies, which have prided themselves on stability and marketed themselves as safe commercial and transportation hubs. But Iran has been firing drones and missiles at these countries in retaliation to their hosting of US troops.

The United States also urged Americans to leave Israel and the Palestinian territories as well as Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, all of which have been affected by the war.
