Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday arrived in Amman, Jordan, following which, he was received by His Majesty King Abdullah II at the Al‑Husseiniya Palace, where both the leaders had dinner.
About Al-Husseiniya PalaceThe Al-Husseiniya Palace is an amalgamation of modern style and Arab-Islamic traditions. It houses the offices of His Majesty Abdullah II, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
The palace is located in western Amman in Jordan and was built in 2006. The Jordanian Royal Family has its working headquarters there, NDTV reported.
Most of the meetings, administrative work and official interviews of the King take place in the palace.
About the structureThe Al-Husseiniya Palace is an amalgamation of modern style and Arab-Islamic tradition with arches featuring detailed designs on the doors and walls. These designs show Jordanian and Islamic influences.
The rooms inside the palace are simple but elegant and the reception and coutyards are decorated with local crafts and traditional patterns.

He will be in the country from December 15 to 16, during which he is scheduled to hold talks with King Abdullah II to review bilateral ties and discuss key regional developments.
Jordan, a strategically located nation between Saudi Arabia and Israel, is ruled by King Abdullah II, who is regarded as a 41st-generation descendant of Prophet Muhammad. His family has governed the country for over 1,400 years, and he is considered one of the wealthiest monarchs in the region.
