Just days after a large bruise was seen on the back of US President Donald Trump’s hand, fresh marks seem to have surfaced on his palm.
The two dark red spots were visible on Monday as Trump addressed a White House event about Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s (TSMC) investment. The marks appeared to resemble bruises.
This once again caught everybody’s attention and sparked speculations on social media, with fears rising over his health.
“Again with the sores in the palm of Trump's right hand. The same one that is always bruised on top. This was taken directly off the TV from his news conference today. He's not healthy. He's declining and he knows it,” a user wrote on X.
Another user stated, “I wonder if this mark on Trump’s hand gangrene. People with dementia have that problem.”
Earlier, the White House attributed the large bruise on the back of Trump’s hand to him shaking hands. "President Trump is a man of the people… His commitment is unwavering and he proves that every single day," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said.
"President Trump has bruises on his hand because he's constantly working and shaking hands all day every day," she said in a follow-up statement.
Meanwhile, another video of Trump having difficulty stepping out of his golf cart has also sparked concerns among social media users.
The footage shows him taking a moment to get down, followed by a brief struggle as he drags one leg and stumbles slightly.

Bruises on the back of the US President’s right hand were also noted by various news outlets in 2024. In a December interview with NBC News' "Meet the Press," Trump said he would release his full medical report. However, that is yet to be done.
