As tensions intensify across the Middle East and an estimated 9.6 million Indians continue to reside in the region, a comprehensive list of emergency contact details has been released for those in conflict-affected countries.

The emergency numbers are meant to assist Indian nationals facing medical emergencies, security threats, evacuation requirements and other crisis-related concerns. The advisory covers individuals living in Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan and Iraq.

In Ramallah, Palestine, assistance is available at +970592916418 via phone and through repoffice@mea.gov.in and cons.ramallah@mea.gov.in. Indians in Doha, Qatar, can reach out at 00974-55647502 or email cons.doha@mea.gov.in.

For those in Saudi Arabia, the Riyadh mission can be contacted at 00-966-11-4884697, with a WhatsApp helpline at 00-966-542126748 and a toll-free number 800 247 1234. In Israel, the Tel Aviv mission has shared +972-54-7520711 and +972-54-2428378, along with cons1.telaviv@mea.gov.in for assistance.

Multiple emergency numbers have been provided for Tehran: +989128109115, +989128109109, +989128109102 and +989932179359.

In the United Arab Emirates, the Abu Dhabi mission has issued a toll-free helpline 800-46342 and WhatsApp number +971543090571, along with pbsk.dubai@mea.gov.in and ca.abudhabi@mea.gov.in for email queries.

Kuwait can be reached at +96565501946 via phone and community.kuwait@mea.gov.in by email. In Bahrain, the helpline number is 00973-39418071.

For Oman, a toll-free number 80071234 and WhatsApp contact +96898282270 have been provided, along with cw.muscat@mea.gov.in and cons.muscat@mea.gov.in.

Indians in Jordan may call 00962-770 422 276. The release of these contacts comes as hostilities between the United States, Israel and Iran continue to escalate following large-scale US air and missile strikes across Iranian territory on February 28. Iran has responded with missile and drone attacks targeting US bases and allied positions across the Gulf region, raising fears of a wider regional conflict.
