Kishor's statement comes ahead of the upcoming Bihar elections. He has claimed that his party will defeat the BJP-led alliance by forging unity between the Hindu and Muslim communities.

"Not all Hindus support the BJP. In fact, it can't even be said that a majority of Hindus are with the BJP. We are looking to build an ideology-based alliance," Kishor said.

Health department of Bihar is a portfolio held by the BJP all through the NDA rule.

“No one is going to fall for false promises, those whose names are not on the list will fight the Election Commission, the Election Commission is not the master, the people are the masters,” Prashant Kishor said.

Rahul Gandhi is set to lead a week-long padyatra in poll-bound Bihar as part of a comprehensive plan to protest against the Election Commission’s special intensive revision of electoral rolls.

Pappu Yadav said that if Chirag Paswan does not like it with the NDA, Prahsnt Kishor would welcome him, according to ANI.

Kishor was responding to the spate of attacks by MNS workers on shopkeepers and vendors from Hindi-speaking states like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh ahead of the crucial Mumbai civic polls.

"The only way to end poverty, illiteracy and unemployment in Bihar is education. The last 30-35 years of Lalu-Nitish rule have turned the entire Bihar into a labourers' state.

Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor said Rahul Gandhi could do one small thing to prove his claim wrong.

Prashant Kishor quipped that Lalu Prasad Yadav is an example of how people should care for their children and rued how even graduates were struggling without jobs in Bihar.

Kishor, speaking on the sidelines of a rally in Siwan district, alleged that the state was being run by "four to five bureaucrats and as many sycophantic ministers"

Addressing a press conference here, Kishor said he will now concentrate on public outreach, delegating the responsibility of running the organisation to the likes of Uday Singh, and RCP Singh, who had joined the party on Sunday

The announcement was made in the presence of Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor. “Together, we will strive to transform Bihar into a developed state,” Singh said during the event.

The political strategist also took a dig at Congress, whose leaders are claiming credit for the government's decision.

Speaking to reporters, Kishor said, "If the NDA government in the state does not accept our three demands, Jan Suraaj will launch a signature campaign in 40,000 revenue villages across the state starting May 11.

Kishor said that even if the INDIA bloc, comprising RJD and Congress, return to power in the state, Nitish Kumar will not be the chief minister.
