




The delegation, led by the party president Uday Mandal, met Shinde at the latter’s office in Thane on Tuesday evening. This information was shared by Shinde’s city-based office through a release.
Responding to a letter written by Shinde faction's floor leader Rahul Shewalae, the Lok Sabha Secretariat said the designated room for the Sena office in the Parliament building has been allotted to the party.
The meeting will be attended by MLAs, MPs and other Shiv Sena leaders who have been working with Shinde since he broke away from the party led by Uddhav Thackeray, a close aide of the CM said.
Shinde faction officer-bearer Yogesh Beldar lodged a complaint at Panchavati police station here late Sunday night, alleging that during an interaction with a TV channel, Raut used derogatory words against CM Shinde and maligned his image, he said.
Raut in a tweet claimed the Rs 2,000 crore was a preliminary figure, and that this was 100 per cent true.
Flaming torch is the symbol allotted to the Thackeray-led faction by the EC last year.
The order comes amid the ongoing tussle between Shinde faction and the Uddhav Thackeray-led group over the rights to use the 'bow and arrow' symbol
"I thank Election Commission. Majority counts in democracy," Shinde said, reacting to the poll panel's decision, seen as a major blow to the Uddhav Thackeray-led faction.

He was talking to reporters after attending the live screening of ’Pariksha Pe Charcha’ event addressed by PM Modi. Shinde saw the programme at the municipal school in Kisan Nagar locality of the city, where he had studied.
Addressing the concluding function of the 'Malvani Mahotsav' on Sunday night, Shinde said the expressway between Mumbai and Goa will be a greenfield one (fresh construction) and will be access controlled.
The chief minister also believes that the effort towards creating a startup hub in Mumbai will help in employment generation for youth and hence, he said, the government completely supports it.
