Vivo introduced its V50 series this year, with the launch of the Vivo V50 and V50e smartphones. Like the last few V-series lineups from the company, many users also expected a Vivo V50 Pro model this year, with improved camera hardware and features. Instead, the company appears to be moving ahead with the next generation, as a new report suggests that the Vivo V60 could launch soon.

Vivo V60 receives multiple certifications ahead of launch: Key details

According to a report by Xpertpick, the Vivo V60 with the model number V2511 has been listed on the SIRIM and TUV certification websites. The same device with a similar model number also previously made an appearance on Europe’s EEC database. Further, the TUV listing reportedly reveals that the handset will support 90W fast charging.

These listings suggest that the Vivo V60 could be launched in global markets, including India, soon. Like the Vivo V50, which is a rebadged version of the Vivo S20, which debuted in China in December 2024, the upcoming V60 is expected to offer similar hardware to the recently launched Vivo S30. As for its expected release timeline, the Vivo V60 is tipped to launch in August.

To recall, the Vivo S30 offers a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. Further, it is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. In terms of optics, the smartphone has a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Further, the Vivo S30 features a 50MP selfie camera and is backed by a large 6,500 mAh battery.
