Sony has revealed the September line-up for its PlayStation Plus Monthly Games service. Starting 2 September, subscribers can claim Psychonauts 2, Stardew Valley and Viewfinder at no extra cost.
Psychonauts 2 (PS4) follows Razputin “Raz” Aquato, a young psychic and acrobat who finally achieves his dream of joining the elite psychic espionage group, the Psychonauts. But trouble brews within the organisation, as its leader acts erratically after a kidnapping and suspicions rise about a mole inside headquarters. Players step into Raz’s shoes, using psychic powers and platforming skills to navigate surreal worlds inside the minds of friends and foes while uncovering hidden truths.
Stardew Valley (PS4) offers the beloved farming life simulation where players take charge of a run-down family farm. Starting with little more than basic tools, they can grow crops, raise livestock, mine resources and build relationships with townsfolk. At the same time, players face the challenge of keeping the valley’s traditions alive against looming corporate influence. With enough time and effort, the community can be revitalised and its town centre restored.
Viewfinder (PS4, PS5) delivers a puzzle adventure built around photography that reshapes reality. Players use an instant camera to capture and place images—photos, drawings and more—directly into the environment, turning them into physical structures. This mechanic drives inventive puzzles, requiring lateral thinking to reconfigure the world and push the story forward.
Sony also reminded players that they have until 1 September to redeem the August titles, which include Lies of P, Day Z and My Hero One’s Justice 2. After that date, these games will no longer be available.
The PlayStation Plus Monthly Games catalogue is accessible across all subscription tiers.
