Sid Meier's Civilization VII Arcade Edition is now available on Apple Arcade, 2K and Firaxis Games announced. The Civilization 7 Arcade Edition is developed by Behaviour Interactive in collaboration with Firaxis Games. It is playable on the iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Sid Meier's Civilization VII Arcade Edition aims to create an authentic Civilization strategy game experience on mobile. The mobile version of the grand strategy game allows you to build and expand your empire as one of the famous rulers from world history across ages. The list of rulers featured in the game includes Ashoka, Augustus, Amina, Confucius, Genghis Khan, Napoleon, Hatshepsut, Isabella, Amiko and more. The Civilisation 7 Apple Arcade version comes with intuitive touch controls for iPhone and iPad. It also supports mice and controllers on both macOS and iOS.

However, players should note that Civilization VII for Apple Arcade does not support multiplayer at launch; the “Large/Huge” map sizes will only be available on devices with more than 8GB RAM.

The Arcade Edition will not get any of the Civilization VII DLCs that are available on other platforms. Also, the post-launch updates for Civilization VII on other platforms may be excluded or delayed for Civilization VII on Apple Arcade, the developers noted.
