Korean electronics giant Samsung has offered a sneak peek at its One UI 7 update at its Samsung Developer Conference held in San Jose on Thursday. The company hinted at a completely redesigned interface, new design elements, and other additions. Many fans expected Samsung to release One UI 7 based on Android 15 to release this year after Google released Android 15 into the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) recently and is expected to start rolling out updates to its Pixel smartphones after October 15.

However, the company still doesn’t have an official release date, and Samsung, at its annual developer conference, revealed that One UI 7 won’t make its formal arrival until next year’s Galaxy S25 launch. Samsung also confirmed that the One UI 7 beta will be available to developers before the end of this year.

The Korean company states that its One UI 7 operating system has been designed to understand what the user is trying to do and minimize the complexities in user interfaces. Moreover, its design has been streamlined to ensure a cleaner look and bring more consistency.

Moreover, One UI 7 is based on three key principles: keeping the user interface simple, creating a unique One UI vibe, and introducing new UI elements that aim to give users a positive emotional kick. We can also expect Samsung to roll out the update with a resigned notification centre, control centre, camera UI, and multiple Galaxy AI features embedded into daily activities.
