Samsung launches Galaxy A26 with 50MP camera, 5000mAh battery, and more: Price, key features

Samsung has officially announced the price of its latest mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A26 5G, after unveiling the device earlier this month. The smartphone was launched along side Galaxy A56 and A36 smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy A26, starting today, is available in four colors: Black, Mint, Peach Pink, and White. The 8 GB/128 GB variant begins at Rs 24,999, while the 8 GB/256 GB variant is priced at Rs 27,999. The device can be purchased from Samsung’s India portal, Samsung Exclusive Stores, online platforms, and retail stores across the country.

The Galaxy A26 5G sports a flat design with a 7.7mm glass back and a linear camera layout. The Galaxy A26 5G offers a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The display features slim bezels for a more immersive viewing experience, making it ideal for streaming, browsing, and gaming, claims Samsung.

Under the hood, the device comes with Samsung’s Exynos 1380 processor, along with a massive 5,000mAh battery. The phone’s 50MP wide-angle camera and 13MP selfie camera come with advanced tools like Object Eraser and Filters, allowing users to capture high-quality images and videos effortlessly.

Samsung has also focused on durability and security, equipping the Galaxy A26 5G with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance and the EAL5+ certified Samsung Knox Vault for enhanced data protection. Additionally, the phone will receive six OS updates and six years of security updates, ensuring long-term usability.
