The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G ships with Android 16 and Samsung’s One UI 8 interface out of the box. Samsung has confirmed that the device will receive six years of Android OS upgrades and security updates, placing it among the longest-supported smartphones in its price segment. The phone follows the Galaxy A07 4G, which was introduced in India last year.
Price in India and availability
The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G is available in two configurations. The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 15,800, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs Rs 17,200. The smartphone is offered in Black and Light Violet colour options. It will be available through Samsung’s official channels and select retail partners across the country.
Features and specifications
The Galaxy A07 5G features a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits peak brightness. The screen uses a waterdrop-style notch to house the front camera. Powering the device is a 6nm octa-core chipset, listed as the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Storage can be expanded up to 2TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it houses an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired fast charging via a USB Type-C port. Connectivity options include 5G (Sub-6), 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS. The phone carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.
