Reliance Jio brings JioTV+ app to Android TVs and Fire TV devices: How to get the app, features and all other details

Reliance Jio has announced the availability of its JioTV+ app on other smart TV platforms. The app, which was earlier limited to Jio’s own set-top box, is now available on Android TV, Apple TV and Fire TV OS.

With this move, Jio is making it possible for users to watch content that includes over 800 live TV channels and 13+ OTT apps with a single login and that too without Jio’s own set-top box.

JioTV+ app comes to other TVs and it’s free

JioTV+ app is now available on all the smart TVs that are powered by Google TV, Android TV, Apple TV and Fire TV streaming devices as well as TVs. The app can be downloaded via the respective app stores,

- Play Store – for Google TV and Android TV,

- App Store – for Apple TV

- Amazon App Store – Fire TV devices

JioTV+ app: Features

JioTV+ app is a live channel app that allows users to stream live TV channels and access over 13+ OTT platforms. Users are required to sign in using their ID that’s linked to their Jio account.

OTT platforms supported on the app are JioCinema Premium, Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLiv, Zee5, SunNXT, Hoichoi, Discovery+, Lionsgate Play, Fancode, ETV Win, ShemarooMe, Eros Now, Alt Balaji

Things to know about JioTV+ app on other TVs

To be able to use the JioTV+ app on other smart TVs, users will require an active JioFiber or JioAirFiber connection with the subscription for JioTV+ service. Also, the availability of OTT subscriptions will vary depending on the plan you are using.
