Redmi Turbo 5 Max: Design, expected specifications
Through a post on Weibo, Redmi has revealed various details about the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 Max. One of the images in the post confirms that the handset will be equipped with a 9,000mAh battery, which the brand claims would offer ‘battery life comparable to a 10,000mAh’ cell. However, it did not reveal the charging speeds of the Turbo 5 Max.
Besides confirming the battery size, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max’s design has also been revealed via official render images. The phone is teased in the Ocean Breeze Blue shade. It sports a large OLED panel with rounded edges and slim bezels on all four sides, with the back panel featuring a vertical dual-camera setup, similar to the Redmi Turbo 4. Further, the phone has a flat CNC metal frame with the power button and volume keys located on the right edge, while the left frame is button-free.
Additionally, Redmi has revealed that the Turbo 5 Max will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, which was released last week in China. The company claims the phone to be the world's first to ship with the new chipset. It has already been spotted on AnTuTu benchmarks, achieving an impressive score of 3.29 million. However, Redmi has yet to reveal the official launch date of the smartphone in China.
