Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is reportedly gearing up to launch multiple handsets in India soon. A tipster has revealed the launch timeline of the Redmi Note 15 series and the Redmi 15C, which are set to be available in multiple RAM and storage variants. This comes weeks after the Redmi 15C was unveiled in select global markets. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 15 series was introduced in August in China.
Redmi Note 15 series, Redmi 15C: Expected launch timeline, price
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Redmi Note 15 series will be launched in India in December, with the first sale expected to begin on January 9, 2026. While the tipster did not go into the specifics of the lineup, it is believed that the Redmi Note 15, Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+ will have slightly different cameras than their Chinese counterparts.
Meanwhile, the tipster has also suggested the launch timeline of the Redmi 15C in India, which was unveiled in global markets a few weeks ago. The handset is mentioned to be launched later this month and is expected to be available in three RAM and storage variants. The base model featuring 4GB RAM + 128GB storage is said to be priced at Rs. 11,500. Meanwhile, the 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB models could be available for Rs 12,500 and Rs 14,500, respectively.
Like the global model, the Redmi 15C in India is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with a 6,000mAh battery. Further, it could get an HD+ resolution screen with a notch at the top to house the front camera. The phone could also get a dual rear camera setup, with a 50MP primary shooter and an unspecified second lens.
