Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi K80 Ultra in China, which is being described as the most powerful model of the company’s K80 series. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC, paired with up to 16GB of RAM. The handset packs a big 7,410mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. It also brings upgrades across display, cooling, and audio.

Redmi K80 Ultra: Price, availability

The Redmi K80 Ultra has a starting price of CNY 2,599 (around Rs 31,000) for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. It is also available in 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB variants, priced at CNY 2,999 (around Rs 35,800), CNY 2,799 (around Rs 33,400), and CNY 3,299 (around Rs 39,500), respectively. The top-of-the-line model with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage is available for CNY 3,799 (around Rs 45,500).

The Redmi K80 Ultra is available in Ice Blue, Moon Rock White, Sandstone Ash, and Spruce Green colour options, and is now available for sale via the company's website in China.

The Redmi K80 Ultra sports a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2,560Hz pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and the company's in-house Xiaomi Shield Glass protection. It runs on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. For cameras, we get a 50MP primary camera alongside an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the front, the handset offers a 20MP selfie camera.

The Redmi K80 Ultra runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 OS, based on Android 15. It comes with a big 7,410mAh battery that supports 100W charging, and has an independent Discrete Graphics D2 chip that enhances display performance, supporting ultra-high frame rate gaming at 144FPS. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, Auracast, GPS, NavIC, NFC, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a USB Type-C port.
