Realme has launched a new smartphone in India called the Realme P4 Power 5G, along with new audio and charging accessories. The main highlight of the launch is the phone’s unusually large battery, which Realme says is the biggest ever used in a smartphone sold in India. The company is positioning the device for users who want long battery life, strong everyday performance, and a design that looks different from regular phones.
Alongside the smartphone, Realme has also introduced the Realme Buds Clip, its first clip-style wireless earphones, and announced a new Realme TechLife 45W Cabled Power Bank with a large battery capacity.
Price and availability
The Realme P4 Power 5G will go on sale in India starting February 5, from 12 noon onwards. It will be available through Realme’s official website, Flipkart, and offline retail stores.
The phone starts at an effective price of Rs 23,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant during the first sale period. Other variants include 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB options, priced higher. The device will be available in TransOrange, TransSilver, and TransBlue colour options.
The Realme Buds Clip will also go on sale from February 5 at a price of Rs 5,499 and will be available in Gold and Grey colours across online platforms and offline stores.
The Realme TechLife 45W Cabled Power Bank, priced at Rs 2,799, will go on sale in March and will be available in Black, White, and Yellow.
Specs and features
The biggest talking point of the Realme P4 Power 5G is its 10,001mAh battery, which is almost double the size of what is usually seen in smartphones. Despite the large battery, the phone measures 9.08mm in thickness and weighs 219 grams. The battery is designed to work in extreme temperatures and has passed multiple safety tests. Realme claims it can retain more than 80 percent battery health even after years of regular use.
The phone supports 80W fast charging, which can charge the battery up to 50 percent in around 36 minutes. It also supports 27W reverse charging, allowing users to charge other devices like earbuds or another phone.
For performance, the Realme P4 Power 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor. It is designed to handle everyday tasks such as gaming, video streaming, multitasking, and social media without lag. The phone also includes an additional AI chip to improve visuals and video performance.
The display is a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and animations smoother. It offers high brightness levels, making it easier to use outdoors. Audio is handled by stereo speakers with louder sound output for calls, videos, and games.
In terms of build, the phone comes with strong dust and water resistance ratings, reinforced protection, and toughened glass. It runs on the latest Realme UI 7.0 software.
The Realme Buds Clip feature a lightweight clip-style design, an 11mm driver for sound, noise reduction for calls, and up to 36 hours of battery life with the case. The TechLife power bank supports fast charging and can charge multiple devices at the same time.
With this launch, Realme is clearly focusing on battery life and long usage hours, aiming at users who want fewer charging worries in their daily routine.
