Panasonic Life Solutions India has launched its 2026 range of residential air conditioners, designed to handle extreme heat and dusty conditions common across the country. The company says the new models are built to offer steady cooling performance even during peak summer months.
A key addition in this lineup is what Panasonic calls “DustBuster” technology. This feature automatically reverses the fan in the outdoor unit after use to push out accumulated dust. The aim is to reduce dust build-up, which can affect cooling efficiency over time. The company says this is meant to help the air conditioner perform consistently in Indian weather conditions.
The 2026 portfolio includes 57 new models across different categories, including inverter and fixed-speed options, as well as smart and hot-and-cold variants.
Price and availability
The new Panasonic air conditioners start at Rs 32,490. The lineup includes 3-star, 4-star, and 5-star inverter models. The 5-star series also comes with a new exterior design option called Amaze Facia in dark grey with chrome detailing.
The models are available through major retail stores, leading e-commerce platforms, and Panasonic brand shops across India.
Specs and features
The new air conditioners are designed to operate in temperatures of up to 55 degrees Celsius. Panasonic says they can deliver full cooling capacity even at 48 degrees Celsius under test conditions.
The units come with 100 percent copper coils and an anti-corrosion coating called Shield Blu+ to improve durability. They are also designed to work without a stabiliser and can handle voltage fluctuations.
Panasonic has included nanoe technology for air purification, which it says helps reduce pollutants and odours indoors.
The lineup also supports smart features through Panasonic’s MirAIe platform. Wi-Fi-enabled models allow users to control the AC remotely, track energy usage, receive filter-clean alerts, and access service support. These connected models also support Matter, a smart home standard that allows compatibility with different smart home platforms.
Other features include Converti8 technology, which allows users to adjust cooling capacity based on their needs, and AI-based adaptive cooling that adjusts temperature and fan speed according to room conditions. There is also a self-cleaning indoor coil function designed to maintain cooling efficiency over time.
The new range forms part of Panasonic’s broader push to expand its presence in India’s air conditioner market as demand continues to grow amid rising temperatures.
