Oppo is gearing up for its next premium smartphone launch, as the company has confirmed that it will launch the Oppo Find X9s in India soon. Oppo has already launched the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro smartphones in the country, with this device also likely to offer a premium design, advanced camera hardware, and a large battery. MediaTek’s newly unveiled Dimensity 9500s chipset is confirmed to power the Oppo Find X9s, with the processor focusing on delivering near-flagship performance with improved power efficiency and thermal management.
Oppo Find X9s: Expected specifications, launch timeline
At the heart of the upcoming Oppo Find X9s will be MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s, a flagship-class processor built on a 3nm process. This octa-core chip comes with a high-performance CPU setup with MediaTek’s Immortalis-series GPU, claiming to offer power-packed performance and gaming. It also has a MediaTek NPU with generative AI and agentic AI capabilities.
While Oppo hasn’t shared full specifications for the Find X9s, the phone is tipped to offer advanced camera and display configurations. Camera leaks point out that the device could offer a triple rear unit, including a 200MP primary sensor, a 200MP periscope camera, and an ultrawide lens. Further, the phone could house a battery close to 7,000 mAh with support for 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Like other Find X9 smartphones, the Find X9s is believed to run Android 16 out of the box, with ColorOS 16 skin on top.
A recent report by Smartprix suggests that the Oppo Find X9s could launch in the second quarter of 2026 in China, with Indian and global release to follow soon. While there is no official word on its pricing yet, the leaked specifications suggest that the upcoming Find X9s will be positioned in the premium flagship segment, with a starting price of less than Rs 70,000.
