The OnePlus 13 is expected to bring several improvements over the OnePlus 12 and is expected to launch in China by the end of October or the beginning of November this year.
OnePlus might unveil its next-generation flagship, the OnePlus 13 soon. The OnePlus 12 was officially introduced in December last year and saw a global launch a month later. However, according to the notable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming OnePlus 13 might launch in October or early November.
The report also suggests that the OnePlus 13 may be the first device to be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, which will be announced at the Snapdragon Summit, scheduled to take place in Hawaii next month. The early launch date is also possible due to the ‘Double 11’ festival in China, which is the country's biggest e-commerce shopping festival similar to the Black Friday sale in the European and US markets.
Previous rumours and leaks have suggested that the OnePlus 13 could have a 6.8-inch 1,440p 8T LTPO screen and 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it could be the first smartphone to be backed by a 6,000 mAh battery with 100W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging support.
At the back, the OnePlus 13 might get a more squared-off camera module instead of the circular one found on the previous OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 11 series smartphones. The OnePlus 13 could also be the first smartphone to feature dual 50MP periscope cameras, with up to 6X optical zoom and a 50 MP main camera sensor.
We can also expect the smartphone to launch globally at the end of this year or early 2025, post its upcoming release in China.
