After a series of leaks and speculations, Nothing has officially teased the CMF Phone 2 on social media, giving fans a glimpse of what’s coming. The teaser, posted on X (formerly Twitter), hints at a camera centric phone with the tagline, “The perfect shot. Coming soon.” Nothing has been focusing a lot on camera of late and that can be seen on the Phone (3a) Pro.
The teaser showcases the phone’s camera module and an extension, with Nothing sticking to its signature bold orange CMF design. While the teaser doesn’t confirm the full camera specs, rumors suggest a triple rear camera setup—a major upgrade for CMF’s smartphone lineup.
Expected features & specs
Leaks indicate that the CMF Phone 2 will retain some of the customization features from its predecessor, including:
– Customizable back cover
–A screw attachment for lanyards & accessories
In terms of display, the new phone is expected to have a 6.3-inch screen, slightly smaller than the 6.67-inch panel on the original Nothing Phone (1). Under the hood, it might be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, the same one found in the recently launched Motorola Edge 60 Fusion in India.
Expected launch date
Nothing hasn’t revealed an official launch date yet, but with the first teaser out, an April launch seems likely. Alongside the CMF Phone 2, Nothing is also expected to launch three more CMF products—likely a pair of TWS earbuds, a smartwatch, and possibly a neckband headset as a follow-up to last year’s models.
With Nothing’s track record of unique design and affordability, the CMF Phone 2 is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the lineup. More details should emerge in the coming weeks!
