Motorola is set to expand its premium portfolio in India today with the launch of the Motorola Signature smartphone and the Moto Watch. The launch event is scheduled for January 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. Both products were first showcased globally at CES 2026 and are now making their India debut, with Motorola confirming availability through online channels.

Launch details and how to watch

The launch event will take place today at 12:00 PM IST. Motorola is expected to livestream the announcement on its official social media platforms and YouTube channel. In addition, an e-commerce microsite has already gone live, indicating that sales-related information such as pricing and availability will be disclosed shortly after the event.

Motorola Signature: What to expect

The Motorola Signature smartphone is positioned as a premium flagship offering. It is expected to feature a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and support for Dolby Vision. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and may be offered with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.

In terms of imaging, the smartphone is set to include a triple rear camera setup, with three 50MP sensors, including a Sony LYTIA sensor. A 50MP front camera is also expected. Motorola has confirmed support for 8K video recording with Dolby Vision. Battery capacity is rated at 5,200mAh, with support for 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Motorola Signature will also introduce Signature Club benefits in India. These include lifestyle and concierge-style services related to travel, dining, and wellness, with the first service expected to be complimentary.

Moto Watch: Key features

The Moto Watch has been developed in collaboration with Polar, a Finland-based company known for fitness and sports technology. The smartwatch focuses on health and activity tracking, including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, heart rate variability, and recovery insights using Polar’s Nightly Recharge system.

The watch is expected to feature a 47mm circular design with an aluminium body and stainless steel crown. It comes with IP68 water resistance, Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and interchangeable straps. Dual-frequency GPS support is included for outdoor activities, along with support for hands-free calling via a built-in microphone and speaker. Motorola claims a battery life of up to 13 days, depending on usage.

What happens next

Motorola is expected to confirm pricing, sale dates, and bundled offers during the launch event. With the Signature smartphone and Moto Watch, the company is aiming to strengthen its presence in the premium smartphone and wearable segments in India.
