Motorola Razr Fold, the first book-style foldable smartphone by Motorola, was officially unveiled at CES 2026 last month. However, the company didn’t disclose the price and its other details, including its availability and the full specifications. However, now, through its social media handles, Motorola has announced that more details about the Razr Fold will be revealed next week.
Motorola Razr Fold: Launch date, expected specifications
Through an X post, Motorola has stated that the Razr Fold’s "every detail" will be revealed on March 2 during the MWC 2026. The handset is the first big-screen foldable from the brand and is likely to go against the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the upcoming Honor Magic V6, and the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Interestingly, the Honor Magic V6 is already scheduled to launch on March 1, a day before MWC 2026 kicks off.
As mentioned earlier, the Motorola Razr Fold has already been previewed during CES last month. It comes in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White shades. The foldable has an 8.1-inch LTPO inner display with a 2K resolution, and a 6.6-inch external screen. In terms of cameras, it houses a triple rear camera unit, which includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
More details around the Razr Fold, including the matter of official pricing and its availability, will likely be revealed on March 2. The rumoured starting price of the foldable is around $1,500, which puts it much below the starting price of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The launch date also coincides with the start of MWC 2026, where several other smartphone brands are set to showcase their upcoming devices.
