Motorola has launched its latest budget smartphone, the Moto G85 5G in the Indian market. The smartphone comes with a 3D curved pOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and is the first Moto G-series smartphone to have a curved screen. It weighs 172 grams and has a thickness of 7.59mm.
Moto G85 5G: Price, availability
The Motorola Moto G85 5G is available at a starting price of Rs 17,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also has a higher variant with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage priced at Rs 19,999. The phone is available in three colour options: Cobalt Blue, Urban Grey, and Olive Green.
It will have its first sale on July 16 at noon via Flipkart, Motorola’s website, and other leading retail stores. Prospective buyers can avail of an instant bank discount and exchange offer of Rs 1000. Motorola has also provided a no-cost EMI option for nine months starting at Rs 1,889 per month.

The Moto G85 5G features a 6.67-inch pOLED curved screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits of peak brightness. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the phone runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset with upto 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage.
In terms of optics, the Moto G85 smartphone boasts a 50MP main sensor (Sony Lytia 600) with OIS support with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. On the front, the smartphone has a 32MP camera sensor. The Moto G85 5G has a 5000mAh battery with 33W charging support.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, LTEPP, and a USB Type-C port. It comes in an IP52-rated water-repellent build.
