LG has announced its 2026 OLED TV lineup at CES 2026, and the company has introduced a new model called the LG OLED evo W6, also referred to as the True Wireless Wallpaper TV. The biggest update this year is that LG has unveiled this TV as the world’s thinnest OLED TV, with a thickness of just 9mm. LG first showed the wallpaper TV design back in 2017, where the screen sits flat on the wall like a photo frame. In 2026, LG has kept the same idea but made the setup wireless by shifting all the ports to a separate Zero Connect Box, which can be placed up to 10 meters away from the TV. This means the TV screen has no wires or ports attached to it directly, helping keep the look clean and simple.
LG has also shared that this TV is part of its premium OLED series and is still in an experimental stage. It is not available for public sale yet, and LG has clarified that it is not a Zomato or delivery-related product in any way.
Specs and Features
The LG OLED evo W6 comes with the following details:
The TV uses a new display system called Hyper Radiant Color Technology, which improves brightness, black levels, and colour quality while reducing screen reflection. LG says the screen can go up to 3.9 times brighter than older OLED models, using a feature called Brightness Booster Ultra.
The screen has received Reflection Free with Premium certification from Intertek, because it has very low reflectance, meaning less glare even in well-lit rooms.
The visuals are processed by the new Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, which includes a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that is 5.6 times more powerful than earlier versions. LG has also added a Dual AI Engine that works on noise reduction and texture detailing at the same time, helping maintain a natural-looking picture without over-sharpening.
For gaming, the TV supports 4K resolution at 165Hz refresh rate, 0.1ms pixel response time, NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for smooth gameplay with low lag.
LG has also introduced LG Gallery+, which offers over 4,500 visuals including art, cinematic scenes, game graphics, personal photo albums, and AI-generated images. It also supports background music that matches the mood of the visuals. This feature is available across LG TVs, including the W6.
On the software side, the TV runs on webOS and now includes Voice ID, which recognises the speaker’s voice and switches to their personalised home screen with apps and widgets based on the user profile.
For security, LG has added LG Shield, a data encryption and protection layer to keep voice profiles and user information safe and private.
