Lava has launched the Yuva Star 2, the company’s latest 4G smartphone in its budget-centric Yuva Series. It is the follow-up to last year’s Yuva Star and packs a 5,000mAh battery, which is coupled with a Unisoc processor and a 13MP AI rear camera. Further, the Yuva Star 2 is powered by the Android 14 Go platform, offering a bloatware-free experience, with no pre-installed apps for a cleaner and safer user interface.

The Lava Yuva Star 2 is available in a single variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It comes in two colour options: Radiant Black and Sparkling Ivory, and is already available across offline retail stores in India. Further, the device comes with a one-year warranty and free service at home.

The Lava Yuva Star 2 comes with a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display. It’s powered by an octa-core Unisoc processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM, 4GB of virtual RAM, and 64GB of storage. In terms of optics, the Yuva Star 2 has a dual camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP front camera. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
It runs on Android 14 Go Edition, claiming to offer a clean software experience without any pre-installed bloatware. The device features a premium glossy back design and is water and dust-resistant. In terms of security, the Yuva 2 comes with a side fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock as well. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and expandable storage up to 512GB via microSD.
