If rumours are to be believed then the launch of the first iPhone of 2025 is imminent. Apple’s iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch this week, according to a report by Bloomberg. Rumour mills have been abuzz about what the iPhone SE could bring. Now, a few cases have leaked online hinting at a design overhaul.

Leaks suggest the new iPhone SE will ditch the home button and bezels for a full-screen look, similar to the iPhone 14. A case leak seemingly confirmed this, revealing a notch instead of the Dynamic Island, and the same button layout as the iPhone 14.

This marks a major departure from previous SE models, which retained the classic iPhone 8-like design. The shift to a modern, larger display is long overdue for the iPhone SE.

Under the hood, the SE 4 is rumored to pack the A18 chip, the same one found in the iPhone 16 series. This would make it incredibly powerful for its price point, potentially offering flagship-level performance in a more affordable package. It will also be the most affordable iPhone to run Apple Intelligence.

The camera is also getting a boost, with rumours pointing to a 48-megapixel sensor, a significant upgrade from the previous 12-megapixel camera. However, don’t expect multiple camera sensors as the iPhone SE 4 is expected to have a single camera at the back.

While the exact price is unknown, it's expected to be slightly higher than the previous SE, which started at Rs 39,999. Perhaps Apple could launch at Rs 44,999 or even Rs 49,999.
