Avoid using public Wi-Fi without a VPN Free Wi-Fi in cafes or airports might be tempting, but it’s often not secure. Hackers can steal your data if you're not careful. If you must use public Wi-Fi, always use a trusted VPN to keep your connection private.

Apple is gearing up to introduce its next-generation iPhone lineup this September, and leading the pack will likely be the iPhone 17 Pro Max—a device already making waves in the rumour mill. The new lineup is tipped to include the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, each bringing upgrades in display, camera, and overall design.

iPhone 17 Pro Max India launch date (expected)

Apple traditionally holds its iPhone launch event in the first or second week of September. Following this cadence, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is likely to be unveiled on Monday, 8 September, or Tuesday, 9 September 2025. Pre-orders could begin on Friday, 12 September, with retail availability starting Friday, 19 September globally—including India.

To provide some context, the iPhone 16 was announced on 9 September 2024 and went on sale on 20 September, while the iPhone 15 was unveiled on 12 September 2023 with a release date of 22 September. Apple’s launch pattern rarely deviates from this schedule, making the above dates highly plausible—though not officially confirmed.

iPhone 17 Pro Max specifications (leaked)

The iPhone 17 Pro Max is rumoured to come with a larger 6.9-inch OLED display featuring 120Hz ProMotion technology. Under the hood, Apple may debut its next-gen A19 Pro chipset, paired with an upgraded 12GB of RAM—a notable increase from previous models. The company is also said to be working on improved thermal management with a vapour cooling chamber.

Battery performance is also expected to get a boost, although exact figures remain under wraps. On the optics front, the iPhone 17 Pro Max may feature an enhanced 48MP triple rear camera system, with a sharper telephoto sensor for better portraits, and a bumped-up 24MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

iPhone 17 Pro Max price in India (expected)

According to early leaks, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could start at Rs. 1,64,999 in India—roughly Rs. 20,000 higher than its predecessor, the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which launched at Rs. 1,44,900. The price hike could be attributed to new hardware additions, camera upgrades, and the larger display. While these details are based on industry trends and tipster leaks, nothing is official until Apple sends out its invites. Still, if you're considering upgrading your iPhone this year, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could be the most feature-packed option in Apple's 2025 lineup.
