September gave us the iPhone 17 lineup, the feather-light iPhone Air, and the Apple Watch Ultra 3. But Apple isn’t done yet. October is shaping up to bring at least five more hardware launches—products that touch every corner of its ecosystem.
Apple TV 4K
It’s been three years since the last refresh, and Apple’s streaming box is finally due for an upgrade. Expect the A17 Pro chip, Apple Intelligence baked in, and the new N1 wireless chip. Rumours also point to a built-in Center Stage camera, which could push FaceTime on the big screen into the mainstream.
HomePod mini 2
Apple’s compact speaker hasn’t been touched since 2020. The second-gen model should bring the N1 chip, Apple Intelligence support, improved audio, and an upgraded Ultra Wideband chip. For smart-home users, this could be the sleeper hit of the lineup.
iPad Pro (M5)
Last year’s tandem OLED redesign was massive; this year’s M5 update looks subtler. Expect spec bumps: the new M5 chip, up to 16GB RAM, the N1 chip, and maybe dual front cameras. If Apple sneaks in its C1X modem, it could be the fastest-connected iPad yet.
AirTag 2
After four years, Apple’s tracker is ready for a refresh. Expect better privacy controls, a stronger Ultra Wideband chip, and precision finding with more range. The design is likely unchanged, but the tech inside matters more.
Vision Pro 2
Apple’s $3,500 headset hasn’t caught fire with consumers, but a new version is already on deck. Upgraded chips, a more comfortable strap, and a black finish are rumoured. Still, this feels like iteration rather than reinvention.
