Honor 400, 400 Pro with 200MP camera, Snapdragon chipsets launched: Price, specifications

Honor has introduced the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro in select global markets. The Honor 400 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, while the Honor 400 Pro has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC under the hood.

Honor has officially unveiled the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro for the global markets at an event in Paris, France, this week. Both smartphones feature a 200 MP primary rear camera, with the Pro model coming with a dedicated telephoto lens and faster charging. Both devices are the first to come with an AI Editing tool, which converts images to short videos from Google Cloud with three seconds of vibrant live moments, allowing users to effortlessly share or edit snippets on social platforms.

Honor 400, Honor 400 Pro: Price, availability

The Honor 400 is available for GBP 399 (around Rs 48,000) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and GBP 449 (around Rs 51,000) for the 8GB RAM + 512GB option. It comes in Desert Gold, Meteor Silver, and Midnight Black colour shades. Meanwhile, the Honor 400 Pro is available in a single 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant, priced at GBP 699 (around Rs 80,000). It comes in Lunar Grey, Tidal Blue, and Midnight Black colourways.

Both smartphones are now available across Europe and in the UK. The Honor 400 series will be introduced in China on May 28.

Honor 400, Honor 400 Pro: Specifications, features

Starting with the Honor 400 Pro, it comes with a quad-curved 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits peak brightness. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Further, the device has a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 200MP main camera, a 50MP Sony IMX856 telephoto camera with OIS and 3X optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. It also has 50MP primary and a 2MP depth cameras on the front.

Meanwhile, the Honor 400 has a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000-nits peak brightness. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and a maximum of 512GB of onboard storage. In terms of optics, the device gets a 200MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera with up to 30x optical zoom. It has a 50MP selfie sensor.

Both smartphones get a 5,300 mAh battery. However, the Honor 400 Pro supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. On the other hand, the Honor 400 gets 66W wired charging support.
