Haier Appliances India has launched a new four-door refrigerator range called Lumière in India. The new range focuses on design and everyday usability, aimed at people who want their kitchen appliances to look different without losing basic functionality. With a large capacity and soft colour options, the Lumière range is meant for modern homes where the refrigerator is no longer just a utility item.

The Lumière refrigerators come with a 520-litre capacity and a colourful steel finish that moves away from the usual silver and dark shades seen in most kitchens. The range is available in three colours: Pearl White, Mauve Pink, and Rosette White. Buyers can choose between glossy and matte finishes depending on what suits their kitchen space. Haier says the idea behind the range is to offer a refrigerator that blends into home interiors while still standing out visually.

Price and availability

The Haier Lumière colourful 4-door refrigerator range is priced starting at Rs 83,990 in India. The refrigerators will be available from 30 January 2026. Consumers can buy them through the official Haier website, major online shopping platforms, and authorised retail stores across the country.

Specs and features

The Lumière range offers a four-door layout that helps users organise food more clearly by separating fresh and frozen sections. One of its key features is the convertible zone, which allows users to change a large part of the storage space based on their needs. Up to 85 percent of the space can be converted, while up to 15 percent can be kept as freezer storage. This makes it easier to adjust space during festivals, parties, or weekly grocery runs.

The refrigerator comes with an external digital control panel that lets users change temperature settings without opening the door. This helps maintain steady cooling and avoids unnecessary loss of cold air.

Haier has equipped the Lumière range with an inverter compressor and a dual fan system. This setup is designed to provide even cooling across all compartments while keeping noise levels low. The company says this also helps keep food fresh for longer periods.

There is a separate fruit and vegetable box that offers dedicated storage for fresh produce. This helps keep fruits and vegetables organised and reduces overcrowding inside the fridge. The door racks are designed with a 95-degree anti-tipping feature, which helps keep bottles and containers stable, even when the door is opened suddenly.

Another focus area is quiet operation. The Lumière range is built to run with minimal noise, making it suitable for homes with open kitchens or shared living spaces.

Commenting on the launch, NS Satish, President of Haier Appliances India, said the company wanted to rethink premium refrigeration for Indian homes. He added that the Lumière range reflects Haier’s effort to combine design, comfort, and everyday practicality in a single appliance.

With this launch, Haier is clearly placing design and flexibility at the centre of its premium refrigerator lineup in India.
