Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) is set to launch later this year after its official introduction through the game’s first trailer in December 2023. It is speculated that the game will arrive in the fall of 2025, and the fans have not been sitting idle before its eventual release. Now, a new map from Reddit, which has been made using the trailer and leaked gameplay materials, reveals how the game’s open world will look like.
GTA 6 fan-made map sparks excitement
According to a new report by GamingBible, content creator Dyllie has shared a fan-made mapping project on Reddit, which reveals that GTA 6 could feature over 500 dynamic events. While not official, similar fan projects for GTA V proved to be quite accurate in the past, which suggests that there could be some truth to these findings. Further, the report suggests that these dynamic events could include newer sports and activities such as backyard wrestling, basketball, fishing, kidnapping, and more.
A Reddit user, Miserable-Way4048, placed GTA VI’s mock-up map alongside Just Cause 2’s map showcasing its vast size. For those unaware, Just Cause 2 is known for its big open world, and on average a person is required to commit more than 86 hours to complete the game.
As of now, GTA VI is expected to be released late this year for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Moreover, these fan-driven efforts highlight the anticipation for the game’s release, which is expected to break all pre-order records.
