Google’s Gemini AI Nano is made for on-device artificial intelligence generative tasks and can be accessed through the Pixel 8 and 8a developer options.
After making its Gemini Nano AI model exclusively for Pixel 8 Pro earlier this year, Google has now rolled out the model to its cheaper smartphones the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8a with the latest June update. The June Pixel drop will allow users to access this AI model as a developer option, enabling features like Summarize in Recorder and Smart Reply.

However, many Pixel fans were disappointed with this news promise and Google had to backtrack and agree to bring Nano support to its cheaper smartphones the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8a.
