If you’ve been using Google Lens, Discover, or Voice Search and noticed they’re not working properly, you’re not alone. Google has confirmed there’s a glitch, and it started around 1:30 a.m. IST on June 13.
The company posted an update shortly after, saying it’s looking into the issue but didn’t give much more detail. For now, these services are technically still online, but they’re not showing results the way they should, so you might see missing content or incomplete answers.
Why does this matter? Well, these features drive a lot of traffic to websites, online stores, and even local businesses. So if you run a site and notice a sudden drop in clicks or impressions especially from Discover or image/voice search — this could be the reason.
The good news is that it’s likely a temporary glitch, not a major change in Google’s ranking system. So don’t panic. Just keep an eye on your traffic from around the time the issue began.
Google says it will post another update within 12 hours, but hasn’t shared when things will go back to normal.
In the meantime, regular Google Search (the usual type-and-search experience) is working just fine. So if you're doing SEO checks or troubleshooting rankings, you can continue as usual.
