EA Sports FC 25’s launch date may have leaked, here’s what the rumours say

EA Sports FC 25–the next game in the Electronic Arts' football simulator franchise– may launch on September 27, 2024, leaker Billbil-kun of Dealabs claimed on X. The reliable Dealabs tipster also claimed that EA Sports FC 25 will be officially announced within the next 10 days.

EA Sports FC 25 will be the second game to carry the new branding after EA Sports FC 24. The rebranding of the iconic FIFA franchise happened after the partnership between Electronic Arts and FIFA–the global governing body for football–ended two years back. FIFA 23–launched in September 2022– was the last game to carry the ‘FIFA’ brand name. The EA Sports FC 25 launch will mark two years of the removal of ‘FIFA’ from the highly popular football sim.

As per Dealabs, EA Sports FC 25 will have two game editions: Standard and Ultimate. Those who purchase the Ultimate Edition will get seven days of early access to EA Sports FC 25.

According to Dealabs, EA Sports FC 25’s Standard Edition will come at a price tag of $69.99 (£59.99 / €69.99), while the Ultimate Edition will be priced at $99.99 (£89.99 / €99.99).

PlayStation Game Size 2, the backup of an X profile that leaks information about upcoming games, mentioned that EA Sports FC is going to come to PS4. If the football simulator is going to be there on PS4, there are high chances of it arriving on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch too. In 2023, EA Sports FC 24 launched for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch on September 22, 2023. We are assuming that EA Sports FC 25 will also launch on these many platforms. Another thing to note is the launch month of the previous games. EA Sports FC 24 launched in September last year and FIFA 23 also launched in September 2022. That makes EA Sports FC 25's September release likely.
